The Sine Wave - A Portrait

Good Friday!

One of my favorite mathematical functions is the sine function. Not only the sine wave helps describe a lot of physical phenomena, but I also see it like how life goes, with its ups and downs.

So here are few graphs (portraits) of the sine wave.

Calculator: TI-84+
Window: X range: -π/2 to 5π/2, Y range: -2.05 to 2.05
(Except the last one, X range: 0 to 5π/2)

  1. speaking of the sin wave of life, how about y=xRND^RND where randon values are positve or negative? Another great post!
